Sr. Applications Support Engineer(Drill Bits)

Job Description We are seeking an Application Engineer – General to support the North America Land Drill Bits organization by delivering technical insights, application analysis, and product recommendations that drive performance and revenue. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to optimize bit selection, support field execution, and contribute to new product development. Responsibilities Partner with field operations and sales to deliver technical value and performance insights to customers Provide post‑sales technical support, including performance reviews, run analysis, and customer troubleshooting Conduct detailed application analysis to optimize bit selection and drilling performance Approve drill bit repairs and ensure compliance with technical standards Collaborate with Technology teams to support new product development, testing, and launch activities Document and communicate technical findings to internal stakeholders and customers Support field operations with technical recommendations and best practices Promote strong customer relationships through professional communication and service quality Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry 5+ years of experience in drill bits Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems in fast‑paced environments Experience leading programs or projects with cross‑functional teams Ability to document, plan, and execute technical programs effectively Strong customer focus and ability to influence stakeholders Working Pattern Monday–Friday, 8AM to 5PM (with field or customer visits as required).
