Local candidates: position currently allows for partial remote work (3 days in office / 2 days from home) Non-local candidates: remote work is availablePowerPay, a fast-growing financial technology company, is seeking a Collections Specialist to assist our growing team. PowerPay offers a great working environment (state of the art technology, spacious up to date office, full stocked kitchen, gym, fun areas) and did we mention an awesome team of co-workers?Successful candidates will be a hard-working driven individual that will be able to assist the servicing team in customer payments, collections, and review applicant credit reports.Responsibilities:Service an assigned portfolio of accounts in a delinquent payment statusAssist charge-off and collection accounts for homeowners who need payment for loan approvalMonitor all standard collection procedures according to PowerPay's policy to minimize loan delinquencies.Communicate with customers for collections purposes through outbound calls, email, text, and chatReview customer invoices for accuracyWilling to help out with other back-end responsibilities and special projects as neededQualificationsMust be proficient in conversing with Spanish speaking clientsBachelor's Degree preferred1 to 2 years' collections experience preferredAbility to read credit reports preferredExperience working with Google Drive and Microsoft Office productsStrong analytical and negotiating skillsDemonstrates effective listening skillsAdditional InformationBenefits of working with PowerPayTeam-centric company cultureGrowth OpportunitiesAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
