Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianCrafco, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing plant in Halls, TN.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility. They will perform necessary repairs and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely and is kept in overall good working order. Key responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing mechanical issues, updating equipment records, organizing tools and work areas, following safety protocols, and collaborating with production teams and/or subject matter experts to minimize equipment downtime and optimize efficiency and dependability.This position offers a competitive hourly wage with an excellent benefits package including: Profit Sharing, Matching 401(k), Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Holiday, Personal, and Sick pay, Maternity/Paternity Leave, and more.Specific duties:Rebuilding/replacing large pumps and motors used for asphalt manufacturingVFD and light electrical knowledgeConveyor maintenance and repairAutomated equipment, PLCs, sensors, eyesOil heater, heat traceMaintainX and Worximity programsQualifications:High school diploma or GED1-3 years of trade school OR related maintenance experience requiredHMI (Human Machine Interface) experience preferredAble to read and write EnglishKnowledge of general shop math, reading charts, tables and drawings, and use of job-related tools, gauges and instrumentsWorking knowledge of pumps, motors, oil lines and automated equipment to include (servo motors, sensors, conveyors, and continuous equipment flow of a line run sealant manufacturing plant)Familiarity with plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, and machine maintenance is requiredAble to meet the physical requirements of the role including standing, squatting, stretching, lifting 25-60 lbs. or standing for long periods of time in potentially adverse conditions (semi-indoor/outdoor conditions)Must be willing to work overtime or various shifts, as neededAbout Crafco, Inc.Crafco, Inc. has delivered confidence through innovation, quality, and value to our customers since 1976.
