Position Overvi ew As the Project Registered Nurse, you will oversee the site's medical and first-aid programs, providing occupational, primary, and emergency healthcare services while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and physician-approved medical directiv es.You will play a key role in maintaining workforce readiness, supporting injury prevention initiatives, managing medical resources, and helping drive a culture of safety excellen ce. Key Responsibili tiesOccupational & Emergency Medical CareDeliver occupational, primary care, and emergency medical services to project perso nnelAssess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illne ssesProvide first aid, follow-up care, and ongoing case management under physician guid anceEvaluate conditions requiring advanced medical treatment and coordinate referrals to physicians, clinics, or hospi talsSupport emergency response efforts and medical incident manage ment Occupational Health & Injury Manag ementProvide guidance on occupational health issues, workplace injuries, and employee wel lnessLead return-to-work and modified-duty programs in partnership with workers' compensation teamsSupport injury prevention initiatives and workforce health pro gramsAssist with workers' compensation claims management and case tra cking Medical Facility & Compliance Mana gementMaintain site medical facilities, supplies, medications, and equ ipmentManage equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and asset inven toriesConduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company sta ndardsVerify proper storage, handling, and expiration tracking of medications and medical su pplies Drug & Alcohol Program Adminis trationConduct drug and alcohol scr eeningsSupport site substance abuse prevention p rogramsEnsure testing procedures comply with applicable regulations and project requi rements Training & Workforce SupportDeliver First Aid and CPR training to project emergency response p ersonnelParticipate in health awareness and workforce wellness ini tiativesSupport ES&H programs and project safety c ampaigns Documentation & ReportingMaintain confidential electronic medica l recordsPrepare incident reports and health-related project docu mentationGenerate required reports for project leadership, regulatory agencies, and ES&am p;H teamsEnsure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with applicable healthcare standards Required Qual ificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN ) requiredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of IndianaMinimum 2 years of clinical nursing experienceCurrent RN actively practicing in occupational health, emergency, critical care, trauma, urgent care, or relat ed settingCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) cer tificationCurrent certification to conduct drug and alcoh ol testingAuthorized to work in the United States without s ponsorship Preferred Qua lificationsOccupational Health Nurse (OHN) certification or postgraduate Occupational Health qu alificationConstruction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, mining, or heavy civil project experienceEmergency Room (ER), Trauma, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Urgent Care, or Occupational Health nursing backgroundExperience administering workers' compensation and return-to-wo rk programsCurrent First Aid and CPR Instructor ce rtificationKnowledge of OSHA requirements and occupational health regulationsStrong understanding of workplace injury management and health surveillan ce programs
