Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical surgical patients, focusing on ortho patients including joint replacements.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to best practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and progress, making timely adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in unit orientation and team meetings to maintain facility standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with willingness to obtain a West Virginia license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Two years of recent ortho experience, preferably including total joint replacement care.
• Ability to work night shifts and fulfill weekend and holiday scheduling requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to complying with mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements unless formally exempted.
