** What You'll Do **

• Provide one-on-one peer support, encouragement, and recovery coaching
• Help individuals develop and achieve their recovery goals
• Build trusting relationships that promote long-term recovery
• Assist clients with developing healthy coping skills and daily living skills
• Connect clients with community resources, recovery groups, housing, employment, and support services
• Conduct wellness checks, reminder calls, and community outreach
• Accompany clients to appointments when needed
• Co-facilitate recovery and support groups alongside behavioral health staff
• Collaborate with counselors, case managers, and clinical providers
• Document services accurately and on time in the electronic health record
• Advocate for clients while promoting independence and self-sufficiency
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Organized with strong documentation skills
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Ability to maintain healthy boundaries while building supportive relationships

** Qualifications **

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Peer Recovery Certification Program required
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
• Active involvement in personal recovery and wellness
• Experience working in human services, behavioral health, or customer service is a plus
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass criminal background and CPS checks
