Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Tue 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Wed 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Sat 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Sun 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, offices, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or operational concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and sensitive areas to help to support site protocols, protect property, and maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests. Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, or other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
