Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

The shift is typically Monday through Friday (2:30 pm—11:30 pm). This is a salaried position. Some off-shift and weekend work will be expected to meet demand.Key Job ResponsibilitiesUse 6S to maintain a clean and well-organized work area with only current materials in the production area.Monitor top 100 backorder parts and ensure they are packaged in a timely manner.Supervise all consigned packaging activities.Communicates daily expectations to personnel. Coach and train employees to achieve KPIs and create a positive work environment.Issue warning notices for rule violations and ensure that all vacation request forms are filled out and turned into Human Resources.Ensure the completion of all work orders and provide daily operations reports.Maintain throughput by monitoring process steps; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating root cause analysis activities to failures within the process and report findings.Promote employee wellbeing and a safe work environment for all.Skills, Experience and QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDBi-lingual (Spanish/English) strongly desired3+ years of experience in a production supervisor role, preferably in automotive manufacturingStrong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standardsGood verbal and written communication skills, instructional and leadership skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsMust have Microsoft Office computer skills.Ability to use SAP as it relates to production.Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow processService packaging/warehouse experience preferredNo tobacco useEqual Employment Opportunity: Hollingsworth provides equal opportunity in employment, maintains a diverse workforce, and prohibits all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
