ABOUT THE POSITION
- The ideal candidate will be able to effectively provide administrative and patient care support, coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic
- Check in patients, schedule appointments, answer phone calls and manage physician schedules
- Perform all necessary administrative duties including answering, screening, and routing of phone calls
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance
- Take appropriate messages and ensure the proper delivery of those messages
- Provide stellar customer service by phone and email
- Respond to patient questions or concerns about their symptoms and/or treatment by working with physicians to ensure that patient’s needs are met
- Assist the doctors and patients with ensuring that their medications have been approved and filled by the pharmacies
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Skill in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 1+ years of previous medical front office experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with EMR preferred
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Personable and friendly in nature
- Team player with a focus on excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations
- Must be motivated, organized and able to multitask
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
- Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 pm or 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Pay Rate $25 - $28hr DOE Paid time off (1 week for the first year)
- Health benefits (medical, vision dental – we contribute $300 per month), 401K contribution, Paid monthly parking
