Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Overview The Assistant Superintendent will serve as the executive day-to-day operational manager of the golf maintenance operation. Reports directly to the golf course superintendent and works with Equipment Manager to initiate and complete daily golf maintenance tasks. Must be willing to work in a minimal to no overhead environment with independence. The job is directly responsible for all training and oversight of pesticide and fertilizer applications, irrigation system repair and maintenance, team building, golf course setup, and along with the Equipment Manager mowing and cultivation requirements for the golf course. Candidate should have experience with managing an hourly workforce with control of overtime and efficient operations. Our operation emphasizes a strong work/life balance. Staff will not exceed 10-12 laborers in peak growing season. Qualifications 2-year certificate or more 1-3 years as Assistant Superintendent or Assistant-in-Training with references and a clear management progression at a larger operation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
