ITW's business model enables quick and decisive decisions for individuals seeking a fast-paced and challenging business model within the framework and strength of a large multinational corporation.The ITW GSE Division is an industry leading manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the aviation industry.Core customers are Airports and Airlines in all countries around the World.Core products are Power Supply Units for aircraft parked on the ground.The ITW GSE has 2 factories and 2 sales offices:ITW GSE Americas, Palmetto FloridaITW GSE International, Odense DenmarkSales Office DubaiSales Office SingaporeOrganizationally ITW GSE is part of the Specialty Products Segment of Illinois Tool Works (ITW).Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesIn alignment with ITW Business Model principles and a strong customer-focused mindset, key responsibilities include:Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Aftersales, and R&D/Engineering teams to support project execution and customer requirementsServe as a technical subject matter expert in Aircraft Ground Power and/or Preconditioned Air (PCA) equipmentCoordinate with external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and customers to ensure proper installation, integration, and application of ITW GSE equipmentProvide technical guidance and training to customer engineering and operations teams on installation best practices, system functionality, and equipment useLead and manage large-scale installation and customer projects, ensuring delivery of commitments, adherence to timelines, and alignment with contractual requirementsSupport the development, review, and maintenance of product specifications and technical documentationIdentify and drive process and product improvements in collaboration with internal stakeholdersProvide technical support to the Sales and Service organizations, including equipment selection, application guidance, and solution developmentPrepare and deliver summary reports on project progress, risks, and performance metricsPartner with R&D to support new product development initiatives, including field validation, feedback collection, and technical inputAct as a role model of ITW Core Values in all interactions, both internally and externallyAdvise customers on appropriate equipment selection to meet operational and technical requirementsPerform additional responsibilities as assignedQualifying RequirementsEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 5–8 years of experience in airport, airline, or hangar operations with strong technical exposureDemonstrated experience managing technical or engineering projects from initiation through completionTechnical Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Aircraft 400Hz ground power systems and/or Preconditioned Air (PCA) equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawingsUnderstanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and general electrical systemsProficiency in reviewing and evaluating technical documentation, specifications, and manualsFamiliarity with New Product Development processes, including R&D, engineering change (ECR), and innovation workflowsProfessional SkillsStrong project management, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiencesProven ability to work independently in a remote or field-based environment with minimal supervisionCommercial mindset with the ability to balance technical solutions and customer/business needsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and build relationships with customersSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive with a high level of initiativeAdditional RequirementsKnowledge of airport and airline operations preferredValid passport or ability to obtain one legally and ability to travel domestically and internationally as requiredITW is an equal opportunity employer.
