Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ

Salary: $ $108,000-$117,000/yr.

Hours: 9a-5p, M-F

Position Summary:

Provides clinical leadership to the occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and other related clinical
service teams. Ensures the delivery of high quality, evidence based services that are integrated into the individual's
programming. The Clinical Director provides direction and support to clinical and program leaders, as well as
clinicians, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and establishes consistent clinical practices and standards
across programs.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and clinical leadership for related services across programs and service settings.
2Establish and maintain standards of clinical practice that promote high-quality, ethical, evidence-based,
and person-centered services.
• Provide oversight and direction to clinical leaders and related service professionals, supporting effective
  supervision, performance, and professional growth.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration among related services, behavioral health, education, direct
  support, medical, and other service teams.
• Ensure clinical services are integrated into individualized plans and daily programming across the
  continuum of care.
• Develop and implement clinical systems, protocols, policies and processes that support consistent,
  effective, and regulatory compliant service delivery across programs.
• Monitor clinical quality and outcomes through data, documentation, audits, and other performance
  measures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and professional standards
  related to clinical service delivery.
• Identify and advance opportunities for clinical innovation, including new practices, technologies, service
  models, and approaches that improve outcomes.
• Lead and support professional development initiatives that strengthen clinical competencies and promote
  ongoing learning across disciplines.
• Partner with program and operational leaders to ensure clinical services are aligned with organizational
  priorities, resources, and the needs of the individuals served.
• Evaluate service delivery models and staffing needs to ensure appropriate clinical capacity, resources, and
  expertise across programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for complex cases, program development, risk management,
  and problem-solving across the organization.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous quality improvement that advances
  positive outcomes and enhances the overall quality of services
• Directs and oversees the clinical operations and activities, and consults with operational leaders to ensure
  a therapeutic environment of the Program site:
  a. Follows established Bancroft policies and procedures, and maintains compliance with the
  regulations for their department, such as Department of Education (DOE), Division of
  Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), DDD
  Supported Employment/Day Program (SE/DP) Manual standards (if applicable), Department of
  Labor (DOL) regulations (if applicable), Department of Human Services 1047 regulations (if
  applicable), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards (if
  applicable), and other applicable state/local/federal regulations at all times:
• Participates in the development and ongoing oversight of the annual financial operating budget, and
  monitors expenses related to the provision of clinical care. Ensures clinical services operate within the
  established fiscal budget
• Participates in the screening process of prospective admissions to determine the ability of the program to
  meet individual needs. Participates in the admission process for direct areas of responsibility. Ensures
  effective transitioning to and from the program
• Willingly and effectively cooperates with Bancroft, Department of Education (DOE)), and other licensing or
  state agencies or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request
• Actively participates in the development and implementation of performance improvement systems, risk
  management systems, for assigned Program sites to ensure quality care. Responsible for the development
  and monitoring of Outcome Measurement Systems to track quality of life and effectiveness of person-
  centered planning
• Maintains effective communications with individuals, parents, guardians, other family members,
  healthcare personnel, colleagues, own manager and coworkers across Programs and functions, neighbors,
  surrounding communities, etc. Operates in accordance with the Confirmation of Understanding or Plan of
  Care for each individual regarding programs and treatment, healthcare, religious and sexual preferences (if
  applicable), ethnic and cultural support, recreational and socialization activities, physical fitness and
  healthy living, family visits and involvement, and disagreements and grievances within areas of
  responsibility
• Oversees the overall integrity of individual and/or medical records and files for individuals within areas of
  responsibility; i.e., files are complete, accurate, and up-to-date, for timely review by internal and external
  auditors, insurance companies, etc.
• Ensures adherence to state-approved emergency procedures and Bancroft-approved crisis intervention
  techniques for each individual in assigned Program sites
• Serves as a role model to individuals by projecting a positive self-image of professionalism, appearance,
  courtesy, conduct, confidentiality, honesty, fairness, personal integrity, and a respect for the fundamental
  rights, dignity, and privacy of others
• Performs other related management and oversight duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible
  and adaptable in assignments

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a relevant clinical, behavioral health,
  education, rehabilitation, or related field
• Professional licensure and/or certification appropriate to the clinical discipline and applicable service setting, including applicable New Jersey Department of Education certification
• New Jersey professional licensure requirements
• Candidates must maintain all credentials required to practice and supervise services within their area of responsibility
• A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required
