Position Assistant Retail Photo Operations Manager – Magic Memories at Butterfly Wonderland, Scottsdale, AZ. Job Details Starting rate: $17.15 per hour. Paid training. Shifts available any day of the week, including weekends, during operating hours. Flexible schedule. Responsibilities Greet guests and create Magic Memories by providing world‑class service. Assist in leading a retail team to achieve sales goals. Run all operational aspects of a high‑volume souvenir photography retail operation. Act as lead manager in the absence of the Retail Photography Manager. Provide floor supervision and administrative duties to ensure the team stays focused on guest service and sales goals. Develop, train, and motivate staff to achieve desired guest service and financial results. Respond to guest requests, expectations, and needs to ensure excellent customer service. Take photos and provide guests with a memorable experience and souvenirs to take home. Capture and create memories that make people smile. Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1 year of people‑management experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years of previous guest‑service experience preferred but not required (hospitality, food & beverage, or retail). Demonstrated leadership skills – ability to support teams, develop culture, coach, and manage performance. Hands‑on ability to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy retail environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross‑functional team members. Professional appearance and communication skills. Availability to support operations 7 days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Background check required. Experience in digital photography a plus, but not required.
