JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent) Location: Valparaiso, IN Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday (flexible) Call Type: Rotational (telephone call only) Call Ratio: 1:10 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Full spectrum (Pediatrics to Geriatrics) Patient Volume/Census: 15-30 patients/day Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: General outpatient family/internal medicine FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC - HIMSS Stage VII certified Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic tools Specialty Backup Available: Collegial group of system physicians Support Staff Available: Shared office with a Primary Care Provider PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days post-offer COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: Highly competitive salary (negotiable, MGMA-aligned) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Favorable malpractice laws in Indiana Additional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision plans 403B with employer match Exceptional CME funding Reimbursement for licensure (license, CSR, DEA), dues, and subscriptions Contract bonuses based on RVUs Flexible time off Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement (negotiable) REQUIRED PROCEDURES General outpatient family or internal medicine care JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active IN license/IMLC Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family/Internal Medicine Experience: Open to experienced physicians and new grads Other Qualifications: Effective EMR use (EPIC); strong interpersonal skills DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive outpatient care to a full spectrum of patients See 15-30 patients per day Participate in 1:10 phone call rotation Maintain documentation using EPIC EMR Collaborate with supportive system physicians and primary care providers Contribute to system-wide growth in an expanding health network
