Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient scenarios, creating personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions concentrating on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide educational materials to patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Ensure meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to provide cohesive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly desired
