Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory therapy care for patients in a hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and compliance with clinical protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical situations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer respiratory treatments and procedures, including ventilator management and airway care.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies based on clinical assessments and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately in the MEDITECH system.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and modify respiratory care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and operate respiratory equipment including PB840s, Phillips V60s, and Hamilton c-1s.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NRP preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate advanced skills in airway management, ventilator therapy, and invasive procedures.
  
  
• 
  Able to work 12-hour night shifts and adhere to flexible scheduling requirements.
