Patient Volume Average of 36 patients per dayApproximately 3 admissions per shift

Patient Population Must be able to treat patients of all ages

Common Procedures Nail trephinationSimple and complex suturingStaple placementEpistaxis management (cautery and Rhino Rocket)Tick removalForeign body removal (ear and eye)Incision and drainage of abscessesDigital nerve blocksSkin tear repairDental blocksIntraocular pressure (IOP) checksFluorescein staining of the eyeFinger and other joint reductionsOrthoglass splint applicationBursa aspiration

Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant requiredActive Michigan license requiredActive Michigan DEA requiredActive BLS certification requiredAbility to treat patients of all ages required

Credentialing Approximately 30 days, or as quickly as the provider submits all required documentationTemporary privileges available
