Customer Project Manager

Overview We are scaling faster than any complex hardware company ever, and we are looking for a Customer Project Manager to join our dynamic, first‑of‑its‑kind organization. The role reports directly to the Head of Program Management and will be based 5 days a week in person at our HQ in SanJose, CA. Responsibilities Serve as the single point of customer project ownership from pre‑contract through power‑on for large, ambitious energy generation projects. Institute and manage an end‑to‑end stage‑gate process that aligns the customer and all internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and satisfy the customer’s expectations. Identify risks early, secure buy‑in for mitigation, and ensure timely closure with the appropriate owners across the organization. Question requirements that would slow the project’s momentum. Travel to sites as needed to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Maintain disciplined, regular reporting of all aspects of customer project execution to executive leadership. Required Skills High emotional intelligence and strong problem‑solving skills grounded in first‑principles thinking. Excellent organizational abilities and confidence communicating project status and risk mitigation strategies to C‑level leadership. Ability to discuss technical engineering details with a senior manager and then transition to commercial contract discussions with the sales team. Focus on execution and a willingness to put customer and company success first. Strong project execution record with cross‑functional teams on tight timelines and limited resources. Experience & Education 15+ years of project or program management in a technical function, EPC management, or relevant power/hardware/industrial capacity. Experience managing large datacenter or power infrastructure projects that require long‑term planning and upstream alignment. Experience operating from a scrappy startup phase to a Fortune500 environment, ideally within the same company. B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical). MBA is a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, ERP, and MRP systems. Salary $149,200.00 – $214,800.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
