Senior Desktop Engineer

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr The Role They are looking for a sharp, resourceful, and proactive Senior Desktop Engineer to join our growing technical operations team. Key Responsibilities Provide timely desktop, application, and infrastructure support to traders, developers, and business staff. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues. Maintain, monitor, and support internal tools, workstations, and server infrastructure. Assist in the onboarding/offboarding process, including provisioning hardware, user accounts, and access control. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to implement IT best practices and automation. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent technical issues as needed. Requirements 5+ years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or desktop engineering role. Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, hardware, and networking. Familiarity with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management. Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices. Working knowledge of scripting is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have Experience supporting low-latency trading environments. Knowledge of market data systems and trading software. Exposure to cybersecurity practices and compliance in financial services.
