Individuals who do not receive the influenza vaccination due to an approved medical or religious exemption must wear a mask or an N95 respirator if required for their specific job function. The mask must cover both the nose and mouth during the influenza season when present at facilities. Masking will begin on November 1 and continue through March 31 unless data from the community indicates a later flu season. Vaccination or approved exemption is required. The rehabilitation hospital provides care for patients recovering from various conditions, including brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The facility is designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting. Features include all private rooms, a secured unit with private dining and low-stimulation therapy gym, and large interdisciplinary gyms. There are transitional living apartments designed to simulate residential settings to prepare patients for daily living tasks before discharge. Additional amenities include a therapeutic courtyard, specially designed rooms for dialysis patients, and a therapy kitchen and laundry simulation. Day rooms for patients and families, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and cable television are also available.
