The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and will possess a strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, providing expert financial advice, and contributing to the growth of our firm. Key Responsibilities Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive meetings with clients to assess their financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Analyze clients' financial situations and gather relevant information to create tailored financial plans. Financial Planning: Develop and implement customized financial strategies that align with clients' short-term and long-term objectives. Recommend suitable investment products, insurance solutions, retirement plans, and estate planning options. Investment Management: Monitor clients' investment portfolios, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed. Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and emerging investment opportunities. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to enhance client retention and satisfaction. Provide ongoing support, including regular portfolio reviews and performance updates. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on clients' financial performance and progress toward their goals. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base. Participate in networking events and marketing initiatives to attract potential clients. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on financial products, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice. Pursue relevant certifications and professional development opportunities. Note: This role is not solely focused on cold lead generation; you will also have access to an established book of business to support your client outreach and sales efforts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Series 65 license preferred; additional relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus. Proven experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services role. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial planning software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Must be authorized to work in the USA. Skills In-depth knowledge of investment strategies and financial products. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management tools. Work Environment This position will be based in our Poway office, with opportunities for remote work as appropriate. Some travel may be required for client meetings and networking events. Compensation Salary base pay range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus commissions, bonuses, and benefits.
