Molding Operator

Twin City Staffing is hiring a molding operator for a leading rubber and plastics manufacturing facility in Minneapolis, MN! In this role, you will operate hydraulic molding presses, load and unload molds with rubber material, inspect cured parts, and monitor equipment performance. Wage: $19.15/hr.

Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday (Training occurs on 1st Shift: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm)

Duties of the molding operator:

Load uncured rubber materials into molds and unload cured finished parts from hydraulic molding presses
Operate automated and manual molding machinery to perform continuous production runs
Perform visual quality checks and inspection on equipment and molded components
Maintain job logs, track material usage, and uphold shop safety and clean-room standards

Requirements of the molding operator:

Minimum 1+ year of molding machine operation or metal/plastics manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to perform basic math calculations for part counts and production logging
Physical ability to lift up to 30+ lbs. frequently and stand, walk, sit, and reach throughout the shift
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent trade experience
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
