Housekeeping Supervisor $24/hr

Housekeeping Supervisor – Sterling Heights, MI Temp-to-Hire. AWS/CES (Canadian Executive Search Group) is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate a janitorial team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. Day Shift, $24.00/Hour. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities. Interview, hire, train, and schedule janitorial staff. Assign work and inspect completed tasks to ensure quality standards are met. Investigate and resolve service or equipment concerns. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient facility operations. Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and operating properly. Train employees on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment use. Perform cleaning duties as needed to support the team. Select appropriate cleaning products and materials for various surfaces. Qualifications Previous janitorial leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience or a combination of education and related experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
