Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Lima, OH
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/16/2026
Schedule: 36 Hours Guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
On-Call: None

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care/cardiac setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Candidates must be comfortable managing post-operative cardiac patients and working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Post-operative open heart care experience required
• Critical care experience highly preferred
• Experience with chest tube and drain management required
• Experience with pre- and post-procedure care for radial and femoral access patients required
• Strong cardiac monitoring skills including rhythm strip interpretation and rhythm change response required
• Advanced understanding of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities required
• Experience assisting with chest tube removal and pericardial pacing wire removal required
• Experience managing temporary pacers including pericardial and transcutaneous devices required
• Experience using and troubleshooting NIV devices, high-flow oxygen, and oxygen delivery systems required
• Must be willing to float to units within skill level

Certifications & License Requirements:
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• Skills Checklist current within 1 year required
