APRN/PA - Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Cardiac ICU

Summary:

• 12-bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU).
• The APP will provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired cardiac conditions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

APP must obtain and maintain Medical Staff privileges as required by the position. Acute Care Advanced Practice Practitioner Program Certification is preferred for this position.

Education:

• Required - Masters - Nursing; Or - Bachelors - Physician Assistant

Credentials:

• Adv Practice RN License or PA License
• BLS/ACLS/PALS

Experience:

• Preferred Experience: 3 years of critical care experience, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced critical care.

Location: St Josephs Main and Children's

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 7:00AM - 5:30PM & 5:00PM - 7:30AM. This position includes rotating 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts, as well as weekend and holiday coverage.

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
