Duties:

• Conduct tire replacements, rotations, repairs, and inspections on diesel trucks and heavy-duty vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignments, and general mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose automotive issues utilizing automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs.
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tires and vehicle components, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for quality assurance.
• Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on diesel trucks preferred.
• Strong mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and tire service expertise.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment is essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy-duty vehicles including alignments and oil changes.
• Prior service technician experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills is highly valued.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire replacements or mechanical repairs.
• Basic sales skills for recommending additional maintenance services when appropriate.
