Senior Proposal Specialist

The Senior Proposal Specialist will manage the development and coordination of proposal responses from initial planning through final submission. This individual will work closely with operational leaders, estimators, and business development professionals to create high-quality marketing and pursuit materials that effectively communicate the organization's capabilities and project experience. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring all deadlines and submission requirements are met. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical content, project information, and supporting documentation for proposals and qualifications packages. Draft, edit, and refine proposal narratives to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with pursuit strategies. Maintain and update proposal resources, including project descriptions, resumes, company qualifications, and marketing collateral. Coordinate the production of interview presentations and other business development materials. Review solicitation documents to identify requirements, deliverables, and compliance needs. Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal processes, templates, and content libraries. Ensure branding standards and document quality expectations are consistently met across all deliverables. Assist with tracking proposal activity, outcomes, and business development metrics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of proposal coordination, proposal management, marketing, or business development experience within the construction, engineering, architecture, or related professional services industry. Strong writing, proofreading, and document editing skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and proposal management tools is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals across multiple departments and organizational levels.
