Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a NC or compact license for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a specialized surgical unit.

Job Details

• Work in the Operating Room/Surgery Unit of an acute care hospital,
• Serves patients of all ages,
• 3-bed OR unit,
• Uses Cerner EMR,
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM,
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed,
• Call requirements include approximately 6 shifts per month and 1 weekend per month,
• Floating required as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• CPI/HWC/MAB certification required,
• 1-2 years of OR nursing experience required,
• Specialized OR experience required, as this is not a floor unit position,
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within a specialized surgical/OR setting,
• Report to the Director of Surgical Services,
• Scrubs are provided by the facility,
• Casual attire is not permitted,
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate,
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be eligible at the local rate,
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment,
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
