Life Insurance Underwriter

*Description*

* General given assignments for cases to work through
* Order an exam and look at the information on the application and what the total risk they are looking
* Experience looking at prescription history and reviewing medical records
* Screening medication data for life insurance applications
* Analyzing high risk medications and combinations of high risk medications
* Assessment of adverse health information relating to classification of risk
* Knowledge and identification of off-label medication uses
* Screening life insurance applications for selection of standard and substandard risks
* Evaluating health information received with add-ons and reinstatements

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
