Rotational Nanny / House Manager Position

Location: Rye, NY 
Compensation: $1,500–$1,800 per week
Commitment Level: Full-time, long-term, sleep-in (rotational)
Guaranteed Hours: 50 hours per week
Schedule: Rotating schedule alongside a second nanny. Working days run 8–10 hours beginning at 6:15 AM, with a mid-day break between the school drop-off and after-school blocks. Includes 7–10 overnight stays at the residence per month and two weekends per month.

A family in Rye, New York is seeking an experienced, career nanny to join an established household team supporting three children ages 7, 6, and 4. This is a primarily live-out role with a sleep-in component: the nanny stays overnight at the residence 7–10 nights per month and otherwise returns home at the end of the working day. Hours rotate with a second nanny so that the family has continuous coverage. The home is fully staffed, including a second nanny, housekeeping staff, weekend coverage, and tutors, and the family works collaboratively with their team throughout the day. Beyond hands-on childcare, the role includes light family-assistant support — errands, household tasks that keep the children's routines running, and homework support. The family travels and the nanny is expected to travel with them; schedules may vary while traveling. The family is looking for someone dedicated, flexible, and comfortable in a busy, team-oriented household for the long term.

• Provide attentive, engaged care for three children ages 7, 6, and 4
• Work a rotating schedule alongside a second nanny, including two weekends per month
• Stay overnight at the residence 7–10 nights per month and be available for overnight needs as they arise
• Support morning routines — breakfast, dressing, and school drop-off beginning at 6:15 AM
• Drive children to and from school, activities, appointments, and outings in the provided vehicle
• Provide homework support and age-appropriate enrichment
• Manage children's laundry, rooms, play areas, and gear
• Handle errands and household tasks during the school day
• Prepare children's meals and support evening routines, including hygiene and bedtime
• Travel with the family as needed
• Communicate consistently with the family and coordinate with the broader household team, including the second nanny, housekeeping staff, weekend coverage, and tutors
• Uphold household safety standards, including pool and pet safety

• Prior professional nanny experience with multiple children, ideally in a staffed household
• Available for 7–10 overnight stays per month
• Valid driver's license and confidence driving in the Rye, NY area
• Available to work two weekends per month
• Available to travel with the family
• Comfortable around dogs
• Comfortable with a home that has a pool
• Professional, discreet, and able to collaborate within a team of household staff
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
