We are looking for a Helpline Counselor / Care Coordinator to provide telephone-based crisis support, referrals, and advocacy. This role ensures clients receive the services they need, offering crisis counseling, suicide intervention, system navigation, and follow-up care. Key Responsibilities Answer helpline calls and provide information, referrals, and crisis counseling Conduct suicide assessments, safety planning, and follow-up with at-risk clients Advocate for clients to access community, federal, and private resources Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and client databases Participate in team meetings, training, and community outreach Support disaster relief efforts and special projects as needed Qualifications Strong crisis intervention and advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards Professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork Eligible for training and certification as Information & Referral Specialist and Crisis Specialist Benefits Health, dental & vision insurance Paid vacation & holidays 401(k) match Monthly training & CEU opportunities Join a caring team dedicated to supporting individuals and families through critical services in our community!
