Building Supervisor

Building Supervisor Salary range: Per Diem / $17.32 Per Hour Department: Parks & Recreation The City of Dover is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Building Supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Department. This position is responsible for the management and operation of the Dover Park Community Building and the John W. Pitts Center (JWP Center). It is a per-diem, part-time position. Job Responsibilities Enforce policy and procedure for the Community building and Recreation Center. Manage operations of the reception area to ensure high-quality customer service. Supervise and mentor part‑time staff to maintain service standards and performance. Collaborate with management on promotional strategies and marketing of the Recreation Center. Support execution of facility programs and community events held in the Center. Complete incident reports when needed. Execute daily opening and closing protocols and assist with general building maintenance. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the Emergency Action Plan to carry out duties and responsibilities. Render first aid in emergencies. Assist in maintenance of the building. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
