You will collaborate with program therapists, the psychiatric rehabilitation facilitator, and residents to implement the psychiatric rehabilitation plan of care and increase client skill levels through group facilitation and individualized rehab activities. Your responsibilities may include: Promote principles of recovery and psychiatric rehabilitation with participants, providers, and stakeholders Provide skill-building for recovery management, identification of strengths/assets, development of a strength-based recovery plan and recovery goals Identify or reconnect natural supports including peer recovery supports and self-help groups in the community Assist in scheduling appointments as needed Assist with accessing and navigating mental health and/or D&A service systems Assist with navigating mental health court, Adult Probation, Justice-Related Services, and the legal system Participate in treatment team and continuing care (aftercare) meetings Demonstrate schedule flexibility to meet participants’ needs Advocate for members’ community, medical, and behavioral health needs Utilize motivational interviewing to identify strengths, needs, motivation, triggers, and goals Bridge physical health care and behavioral health treatment Provide telephonic assistance to members and family with recovery tools and resources Empower members to self-advocate and follow through with treatment Utilize electronic health records to document and bill for services Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Compassionate Dependable Team-Oriented Service-Focused Professional Positive Committed to Helping Others Qualifications HS diploma/GED minimum; bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 6 months direct care experience with clients with mental health, substance use, or forensic issues Valid driver’s license State police clearance Pre-employment physical, TB and Hep B screening Knowledge of Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with staff and participants Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Able to engage residents in therapeutic, recovery-oriented interactions Schedule Full-Time Apply and Start a Career with Purpose If you’re looking for a career where compassion, dedication, and hard work make a real difference, join the Resources for Human Development team.
