Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,646 a week in all, a taxable rate of $29.06 an hour plus $1,484 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Sonographer, Maternal Fetal Medicine. This position provides detailed ultrasound imaging for patients experiencing high-risk maternal or fetal conditions. The sonographer performs fetal echocardiograms, reports findings to maternal-fetal medicine physicians, and assists with specialized prenatal procedures.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience; Registered ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN); nuchal translucency screening certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with obstetrics and gynecology, outpatient care, high-risk obstetrics, detailed fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucency screening, abdominal and transvaginal imaging, multiple pregnancies, amniocentesis, amniotic fluid assessment, umbilical cord Doppler studies, and related maternal-fetal medicine procedures.
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week; no weekends, nights, or major holidays.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves performing approximately 7–9 detailed ultrasounds per day, reporting findings to maternal-fetal medicine physicians, and assisting with amniocentesis, amnioreduction, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS). The clinical setting includes adolescent and adult patients and requires familiarity with detailed imaging for high-risk maternal and fetal conditions.
