Substitute Bus Monitor

Job Summary The Substitute Bus Monitor is responsible for assisting the driver in safely transporting students to and from school and related activities. Key duties include ensuring the safety of passengers while riding the bus, assisting students with loading and unloading on the bus, and maintaining a positive, respectful environment on the bus. Monitors must adhere to local, state and school policies, communicate effectively with students and parents, and respond to emergencies with calmness and efficiency. They are expected to maintain positive relationships with staff and the community.
