Systems Administrator II

The Systems Administrator II will be responsible for supporting a highly available hybrid infrastructure spanning both on‑premises Windows and Linux servers and cloud-based environments. This role focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud and on‑prem systems, supporting database migration initiatives, and maintaining secure, reliable, and performant enterprise services. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in load balancing, firewalls, and foundational networking, along with a growing skillset in cloud operations and infrastructure modernization. Key Responsibilities: Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure. Support hybrid connectivity, VPNs, routing, DNS, and identity services. Assist with database migration and replication projects. Administer F5 BIG-IP load balancers and support Palo Alto firewalls. Perform patching, monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation. Support incident response, system upgrades, deployments, and automation. Maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Qualifications: 5+ years of Windows/Linux systems administration experience. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and virtualization. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching. Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools. Experience with F5, Palo Alto, VMware/Hyper-V, and monitoring tools is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Technology Inc.
