Instructional Assistant Location: Creek Valley Elementary School | Status: Non- Exempt Part Time | Schedule: 20 hours per week, M - F, 9 month Position Summary: An Instructional Assistant assists teachers in conducting general classroom activities. Education and Experience Requirements Two years of post secondary education with a minimum of 60 credits. Experience working with diverse student group. Strong communications skills. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: The wage for this position ranges from $21.84 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $21.84 per hour. However, candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $22.57 per hour. For those with direct experience in this specific role, the starting rate may exceed $22.57 per hour, depending on their qualifications and experience. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
