$23.00 - $31.00/hr* Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches, and ensuring member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Supports Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates membership information, processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and encourages renewal. Supports sales and marketing events, completes marketing recaps, and promotes Sams Club products and services. Provides member service, acknowledges members, identifies needs, assists with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and guiding through self‑service technology. Handles claims and returns, zones the area, organizes merchandise, identifies shrink and damage, and maintains cart availability and parking lot cleanliness. Completes accounting records, files transactions, prepares deposits and Cash Fund Transfers, investigates overages, and maintains confidentiality of financial and personal information. Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities, ensures compliance with policies and ethics, and leads and participates in teams to coordinate work and adapt to change. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as cash registers. 6 months of customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a front‑end team, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload.
