Machine Operator (CNC)

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend Availability Location BTM Company is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment to produce quality parts and support daily production. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are interested in developing their skills in machining and advancing within a production environment. Position Overview The Machine Operator loads and unloads parts, runs CNC machine cycles, and performs quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow and product quality. Key Responsibilities Load parts and fixtures into CNC machines Start and monitor machine cycles Perform quality checks on finished parts Make basic machine adjustments as needed Monitor tooling condition and identify wear Report non-conforming material or production issues Maintain a safe and organized work area Follow all safety and quality (QMS) requirements Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing environment CNC machining experience preferred Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment Ability to read and interpret part drawings Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and work performance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Education High school diploma or GED What BTM Offers Stable, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to develop machining skills and advance within BTM Competitive pay and benefits Long-term career growth opportunities Manufacturing/shop setting Standing for up to 90% of the shift Hands-on, production-focused environment Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) BTM is committed to equal opportunity.
