Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CFY)

Medstaff Group is recruiting Early Intervention providers on behalf of an EI agency serving young children (birth to age five) and their families across Queens. We're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CFY) to provide Early Intervention services in Jamaica, Woodhaven, and Howard Beach.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language treatment sessions to children under 5 under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Deliver services in the home, daycare, or another natural environment as assigned
• Document sessions and coordinate with the child's care team as required

Qualifications:

• Currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Works under the supervision of a licensed SLP (supervision provided)
• Experience providing services to children under 5 preferred (Early Intervention)

All candidates whether DOH-approved or not must have specific experience working with children under five. General pediatric experience alone is not sufficient. Candidates with a year or more of experience specifically with young children are preferred; a therapist who is experienced but not yet with this age group may be considered for mentorship.
