Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist

Medstaff Group is recruiting Early Intervention providers on behalf of an EI agency serving young children (birth to age five) and their families across Brooklyn. We're looking for a NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention services in Boro Park, Park Slope, and Crown Heights.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 speech-language evaluations and treatment sessions to children under 5
• Deliver services in the home, daycare, or another natural environment as assigned
• Document sessions and coordinate with the child's care team as required

Area notes:

• Boro Park: Yiddish-speaking speech therapists are especially needed in this area

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience providing services to children under 5 required (Early Intervention); general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Comfortable with home-based and daycare-based visits

All candidates whether DOH-approved or not must have specific experience working with children under five. General pediatric experience alone is not sufficient. Candidates with a year or more of experience specifically with young children are preferred; a therapist who is experienced but not yet with this age group may be considered for mentorship.
