Job Description

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater treatment construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager should have:

• Experience with heavy civil, utility, concrete, bridge, or large infrastructure work preferred but not required
• Interest in environmental construction and treatment facility projects
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and willingness to work closely with field and office teams
• Procore and other construction software are preferred
• Must be able to work onsite in the Torrington CT office
