Sterile Processing Technician - Night Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with holiday rotation.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician with Level I Trauma experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping techniques. This role may involve floating or permanent transfer to various campuses as per facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols for sterilization and infection control.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in departmental training and professional development.
• May require floating to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing, with Level I Trauma experience required.
• National Certification required: CBSPD and/or HSPA.
• Experience in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, transplant, and gynecological cases is preferred.
