Garden Center open: Monday through Saturday – Saturday is required.
Hourly Rate: $17-20 depending on experience

Brownswood Nursery is Charleston’s largest nursery and design-build firm. We offer a complete line of services from growing to landscape design and installation to maintenance. What We are Looking for:
- A positive, extroverted, flexible, self-starting individual who sees value in collaboration and possesses the perseverance to see projects through to completion
- Strong work ethic, integrity
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to interact with clients and potential customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Have a willingness to help our team GROW by giving and receiving constructive criticism in a respectful manner
- Ability to sell the "right plant for the right space"
- Horticultural education or experience a plus
- 2 + years of retail/wholesale experience or equivalent customer service experience preferred
- Must be fast paced on computer and familiar with Microsoft Office
- Able to handle physical activity such as lifting, loading, bending, crouching, and moving plant material and bagged soils
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when needed
