CNC Lathe Operator Location: Wylie, TX Pay: 20.63 Shift: 1st Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available Now Hiring: CNC Lathe Operator We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team in Wylie, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints, performing inspections, and ensuring machined parts meet quality specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, work instructions, and specifications. Set up and operate CNC lathe equipment according to production requirements. Call up machine programs and follow established machining procedures. Load, position, and secure workpieces using chucks, fixtures, and centers. Monitor machine operation to identify malfunctions, tool wear, or quality concerns. Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges. Perform Quality Assurance System (QAS) and hoist inspections as required. Change worn tooling and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Complete inspection reports, SPC charts, and production documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
