As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way. The role supports a senior Executive by driving strategic clarity, operational discipline, financial rigor, and cross-organizational alignment. This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to shape priorities, enable faster decision-making, and ensure follow-through on high-impact commitments. The ideal candidate brings executive presence, structured problem-solving, and strong judgment to operate independently on complex, ambiguous, and sensitive topics. Job responsibilitiesPartner with the Executive to shape, articulate, and maintain multi-year strategy, annual operating plans, and priority roadmapsDevelop decision materials that frame issues, options, trade-offs, and recommendations to enable clear executive choicesLead scenario planning and structured problem solving on strategic and operating questionsOwn development of high-stakes executive communications, including leadership decks, pre-reads, and written briefsEnsure consistency of messaging and narrative quality across leadership communications and key forumsCoordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking in partnership with Finance and functional stakeholdersMonitor spend, headcount, and investment priorities against plan; surface variances and implications with recommended actionsEstablish and maintain executive operating cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly), including agendas, outcomes, and action trackingTrack delivery of top priorities; proactively surface risks, dependencies, and execution bottlenecks and drive closureSupport organization design, operating model evolution, and talent-related deliverables in close partnership with HRDrive cross-functional alignment across peer leaders; prepare stakeholder briefs and negotiation materials to resolve competing prioritiesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, transformation, product delivery, or adjacent roles with enterprise scopeDemonstrated experience operating close to senior leadership and influencing outcomes through structured analysis and crisp communicationStrong strategic and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize ambiguous inputs into clear priorities and decisionsExceptional executive-level writing and visual communication skills, including strong PowerPoint and Excel proficiencyFinancial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, spend/headcount tracking, and contract/SOW or vendor approval processesProven ability to establish operating rhythms, manage dependencies, and drive accountability without formal authorityHigh judgment, discretion, and comfort handling sensitive topics with confidentiality and professionalismAbility to operate independently with minimal direction and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelinesStrong stakeholder management skills across functions such as Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk, and HRTrack record of identifying risks early and translating insights into practical action plans Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPrior experience in an executive office, strategy, or business management role supporting VP/ED/MD-level leadersConsulting or internal advisory background with demonstrated delivery and change execution experienceExperience developing annual operating plans, prioritization frameworks, and executive dashboards (RAG, dependency maps, action trackers)Familiarity with enterprise governance and controls related to financial stewardship and third-party/vendor engagementComfort leveraging Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools to accelerate drafting, analysis, and synthesisExperience leading special projects that require rapid diagnosis, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomesDemonstrated ability to move seamlessly between strategy formulation and hands-on execution across multiple workstreams JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
