We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to team up with our well-established group in providing the best quality care. Being the only true private practice that is not owned by private equity in Tucson, we aim to provide a workplace in which our health care team enjoys coming to work each day. Our vision is to build an organization that is committed to creating a center of excellence by exceeding the clinical quality, customer service and cost performance expectations of our patients. This position would see vascular patients and would have an interest in managing hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and smoking cessation, with a potential to do venous interventions. One of many benefits is on the job training in wound care techniques and venous interventions.

Who we are:

Arizona Vascular Specialists (AZVS) is a group of highly specialized vascular surgeons providing patients with the highest quality care. Our young, energetic team are dedicated to amputation prevention, stroke prevention, aneurysm disease, dialysis care and management of medical and cosmetic varicose vein treatments. We provide wound services including wound debridement, skin substitutes and vascular interventions. We cover 2 of Tucson’s major community hospitals for acute vascular needs and complex elective surgeries. Our outreach clinics support rural Arizona where care is needed the most.

Requirements:

• Current DEA license
• Current state license
• NPI
• Current ACLS/BLS
• Master’s degree in nursing for an NP
• Strong clinical skills and experience working in a clinic setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
