The Product Marketing Engineer (PME) is responsible for developing business plans, marketing strategy and forecasts for assigned product lines. The PME maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. In this role, the PME identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.Responsibilities include:Drive DINs to DWINs to grow NR while maintaining profitabilityMaintain close relationships with top tier one customers and the respective account managers to understand opportunitiesDevelop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customersPlan, manage and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (Pre RTM, at RTM and post RTM)Review competitive landscape and building strategies to address gapsInterface with customers and TI field sales/applications to support DINsFollow up weekly and monthly on opportunities; from price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity, etc.Collaborate and communicate the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch etc.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study1 + years of relevant Product Marketing or Customer facing, demand generation experiencesPreferred qualifications:Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
