Physical Therapist Rehabilitation

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Active license or plan to obtain a license as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment
• Ability to maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary
• Knowledge of DX and ICD-10 coding for the billing of services
• Familiarity with physical therapy billing policy and procedures
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records

Responsibilities:

• Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength
• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Utilize EMR to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
• Guide and supervise physical therapy assistants and aides
• Ensure accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up

Compliance / Notes: Expected to adhere to privacy policies and procedures regarding patient information as required by federal and state law.
