Perinatal Nurse Navigator Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Part Time, 24 Hours, Days Departmental highlights: Ability to effect patient's lives in and outside of the hospital setting Improve patient outcomes and quality of care Ability to advance nursing career with a magnet-level hospital Opportunity to use your creative skills Here's What You Need Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Master's degree in Nursing preferred Three years of Level III NICU experience preferred NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required What You Will Do Supports high risk mothers and families identified for navigation during pregnancy and transition to delivery or NICU admission Facilitates communication among maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatric subspecialists, palliative care, outpatient providers, labor and delivery, and NICU teams Ensures seamless transitions across inpatient, outpatient, and community based care settings Collaborates with obstetric, neonatal, surgical, nursing, social work, case management, chaplaincy, and therapy teams Interface with external organizations for documents needed for the coordination of activities, programs and partnerships Prepares and leads bi monthly Perinatal Rounds to promote communication, coordination, and proactive care planning for high risk antenatal and fetal patients Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
